Atsushi Konno

Atsushi Konno

Atsushi Konno was born in Japan on January 4, 1966. He received B.Eng., M.Eng., and Ph.D. degrees from the Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan, in 1988, 1990, and 1993, respectively, all in precision engineering. He was a research associate at Tohoku University from 1993 to 1995, and a research associate at University of Tokyo from 1995 to 1998. Since 1998, he has been with the School of Engineering, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan and currently is an Associate Professor of the Space Machines Laboratory, Department of Aeronautics and Space Engineering. His research interests include humanoid robots and their applications.
